150kV power station

On behalf of Tennet, Omexom and our sister company Kampstaal, we are building various steel structures for the new 150kV power station Rozenburg-Zuid.

Capacity expansion of electricity grid

Since 2020, no new companies could be connected to the electricity grid in the Hoofddorp, Rijsenhout and Schiphol-Rijk area. The maximum capacity has been reached here. The supply of electricity is now being kept going with emergency solutions. Due to the need for extra power, a new electricity substation is being built east of the A4, called Rozenburg-Zuid. The new electricity substation is expected to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2026. The 150kV route of underground cables, which connect the substation to the high-voltage grid, will be constructed by TenneT in 2024/2025.

Our proceedings

Our work consists of realizing the main steel structures for the transformers, the coil cells and the GIS halls (gas-insulated stations). We also produce all the steel cable ducts that carry the underground electricity cables to the transformers.
